  • Private Accommodation

  • If you would prefer to stay elsewhere, there are also hotels in St Andrews. However, we recommend booking as soon as possible, since June is a peak time of the year and accommodation tends to book up quickly. If neither option suits your needs, we also recommend looking in the nearby city of Dundee. Dundee also has numerous hotels, which are less likely to fill up during the summer months.

    2. Travel

  • St Andrews is compact and easily navigable by foot. If you plan to drive to St Andrews, be aware that parking is limited and parking rates can vary.

  • In order to travel from St Andrews to Dundee, you will need to take a bus or cab (unless you have other travel options). On average, you will pay at least 20.00-30.00 GBP for a taxi.

  • Stagecoach Buses (link) offers a number of services that travel from St Andrews to Dundee on a regular basis (up to every 10 mins). Stagecoach offers a dayrider which costs 8.20 GBP per day. This will get you to and from as many times as you’d like. The journey takes around 40 mins, depending on traffic and passenger volume. If one were to purchase a dayrider for every day, you’d pay 24.60 GBP.
